Footy Thoughts.
Newcastle drew 3-3 at home with Liverpool last night, and it was quite a match.Obviously,it was mildly disappointing not to get a home win against the league leaders, but it was good to deny that lot the win.
It was a much better performance than the dreadful Palace match previously, and there were a couple of great goals by Issak and Gordon. Schar getting the equaliser almost at the end I won't mention the opposition efforts, as they're a team I utterly despise, especially Salah:the cheating, diving Egyptian scumbag. Yet, the goals from Issak and Gordon were very well taken. There were some iffy moments in the game, especially when Newcastle were denied two blatant penalties, and the utterly baffling decision by the ref,who blew for full-time when Newcastle had an attack with 3 onto 2 players. If that wasn't a corrupt decision, I don't know what it was.At least Schar got the equaliser almost at the death so I found it immensely satisfying to deny the opposition an away win.
We're currently 10th in the table, and it's Brentford next Let's hope for more better results.
FY Liverpool.
