Crashing Defeat.

Well,Newcastle's 9 game winning streak came to a nasty end today, with a thumping 4-1 home loss to Bournemouth. The visitors definitely deserved the win,but it was so disappointing to lose that way. Of course, having supported Newcastle for over 50 years, I've certainly seen my fair share of disappointing losses.  Southampton next, so hopefully they can bounce straight back.  A game better forgotten.

A Great Win.

Brilliant win for Newcastle last night,as they beat Wolves 3-0 at St James's Park. They now lie 4th in the Premier League, and they're doing excellent in qualifying for European football next season. Who knows? If they can ge5 a couple of more good victories, and they may even get to second.  Of course, the game is still corrupt as hell, so even if Newcastle qualify for Europe, I wouldn't be surprised if the draws are fixed yet again  Stil,it's going very well so far with nine straight victories. I hope it continues...

Favourite Military Battles:Battle of Carrhae 53 BC.

Image
When I was younger, I was a huge fan reading about the Roman Empire, but in later years, I was sickened and appalled by how cruel and brutal they really could be. Some of them are forever etched in immortality, although not all for the right reasons.  One of them was known as Marcus Lucinuis Crassus, probably the richest men in ancient Rome at that time. He had actually defeated the third slave rebellion led É“y the gladiator:Spartacus in 73BC,although he never got the credit for it.Something that really infuriated him. Crassus was always hungry for military glory, and his enormous wealth funded his invasion of Parthia, a rival empire to Rome. He led his legions in an unprovoked invasion there, determined to conquer it,hoping to increase his prestige and wealth. I actually found it very satisfying that he utterly failed in these hopes, and Crassus ultimately paid the price for his own greed.  Good riddance.

Favourite Military Battles.

Always had a keen interest in military history, and this is one of my favourite battles.  In 9AD,three Roman legiins were sent  into the Teutoburg Forest in Germany, then known as Germinia,to deal with a tribal uprising. It was to prove an utter catastrophic defeat for the three Roman legions, as they were all perfectly ambushed by many Germanic tribes in the forest, led by Arminuis. These videos from YouTube will explain how the battle turned out.  Although Arminuis successfully defeated and practically annihilated the three Roman legions, he could not get the tribes back together again. This would lead to a brutal revenge, by the Roman commander:Germanicus, who successfully defeated Arminuis in battle, and would proceed to massacre thousands. So much for admiring the Roman Empire as a civilised people. To me,they were horrible, cruel and sadastic bastards.

Newcastle Through to the 4th Round

Very pleased Newcastle beat League Two side Bromley 3-1 today The first-half performance was terrible, especially with Bromley taking an early lead. The match was also shown l8ve on BBC iPlayer, so that was particularly satisfying to deny the BBC the shock they were hoping for. The match hasn't been uploaded on YouTube yet, so I will post it here as soon as its available. Newcastle have been drawn away to Birmingham in the upcoming 4th round.  Fingers crossed.

Terminator:The Sarah Connor Chronicles:Another Massive Disappointment.

Image
This sci-fi show didn't last very long, and full treatment scenes were very rare in it.Indeed,I can only remember one scene that was nice, but I always hoped for a scene with the two leading ladies:Lena Headey and Summer Glau. Lena plays the part of Sarah Connor, whilst Summer Glau plays Cemeron,a highly advanced terminator herself, or itself if you prefer, but both protect John in the show.I was actually very sad to see the show cancelled so early, just two seasons of it.There were some good moments in it,but alas:not quite enough. I wish the writers had done something with Summer's character, telling how the good guys made Cameron. Who knows? Maybe they could have done a couple of scenes with Summer performing at least, a couple of bound and gagged scenes.  Alas;It was not to be. Still,I really liked Summer playing a deadly machine..I had read she's actually a ballet dancer, and can do martial arts. I would definitely have her on my side.

Operation Crossbow.

This is an excellent WW2 film made in 1965, which tells the story of a group of Allied aabotuers, sent in to destroy a German V1 and V2 rocket base. The film has an excellent cast and it's very well thought out. The cast included the late George Peppard, with the very beautiful Sophia Loren and a host of other, well established actors.  Sadly, there are no pretty actresses bound and gagged in the film, as the best shown is George Peppard doing a tight handgag on Sophia. So,that was mildly disappointing. It was also a nasty shock to see her character bumped off,as the sabotage team don't really know who she is. That was quite a shock to me. Still, here's one of my favourite scenes in the film, where George Peppard's character successfully infiltrates the secret German V2 rocket building plant.

Reacher.

Image
Aside from a few minor gripes, this is one of the few best shows on the telly at the moment.  I haven't seen many pretty actresses performing bound and gagged scenes in it,but it's still a great show.Alan Ritchson plays the leading character;Jack Reacher, a bloke serving in the US military, and has the strength of three men.He has a small team that investigates scheming politicians and fights the bad guys. It's an excellent show, that has an excellent cast.A rare gem in this, sad, very disappointing PC/Woke world that's been forced on us. I'll be keeping an eye out for any full treatment scenes for the girls.

Disappointing News.

Just checked Jeb's Adventure Bound site, but alas:nothing new there. Indeed, not since August last year. The site is still worth checking out though. I hope he will be back soon.

Battle of Culloden (1964) Part 3 of 7.wmv

Hopefully, this video will play here. What a relief,it worked. Hopefully, I can post the remaining episodes here in the future.

The Battle of Culloden documentary:

Image
This is one of the best historical documentaries I've ever watched, detailing the Battle of Culloden, the last battle to be fought on British soil, fought on 16 April 1746. It's very well done and very well performed.  Unfortunately, I wasn't able to post the full documentary I really wanted, but what I will post here still really interests me. Unfortunately, only these were available to post here, but the full documentary is still there on YouTube.

Supergirl.A Massive Disappointment.

Image
I haven't really watched this show, although I did hear of the horrible crimes behind it,all due to one of the show's producers. He's not going to be released from jail for what he did.Overall though,I think the show's a massive disappointment, as there are hardly any scenes for some of the pretty actresses performing in it,to be bound and gagged in severe peril.  Very, very disappointing. The next best thing,is these alternatives made by artists on the Deviant Art website. A lot of these pictures certainly proved they had much better imagination, than the woeful writers for the show. Mind you, the above picture isn't really a big favourite of mine. The foreground is brilliant, but seeing male characters in it as well, still makes my blood boil. The only thing I've seen is Melissa being bound and gagged by webbing, but there's really been nothing of interest in the show. There were so many missed opportunities, as I thought Melissa could have performed full trea...
