New Books.

I'm still going to feature my favourite books here, but I also thought I would post upcoming books I'm quite interested in.

Going back to my interest in military history, I'm sometimes fascinated by the role of sniping. This book will be published at the end of next month, and I'm really looking forward to buying and reading it.It tells the story of the late Harry Furness, who was the best performing British Army sniper in WW2. Harry just recently passed on in 2022,and he admitted he used up all his luck in the war.I've read just a little about Harry's exploits in the war, and it's really fascinated me.

I can't wait to get this book as there's not really much about on British snipers during the war.Indeed, there's hardly anything at all, only snippets I've read in other books.I'm pretty sure Harry was the last surviving British Army sniper living when he was interviewed for the book.

Still,I can't wait to read it,as I've been dreaming of owning a book like this. I just hope it's not a disappointment.

Rest in Peace Harry, and many thanks for your brave and ultimately successful war against the evil Nazis.
